Favorite things
We are moving forward slowly in the adoption process. Each day we try to discuss or accomplish something to get closer to our goal.
We sent in our home study application today. I believe the agency that we have selected for our home study will run some initial background checks and then send us some paperwork. So for now, we just have to wait to hear from them.
This evening we focused on one section of our profile: "Favorites". Our task involved listing our favorite things in about sixty different categories. We started out by having me list the category, and then Kevin would respond with his answer. Apparently, I wasn't reading them fast enough because he insisted on taking over my laptop. I handed it over, and then I watched as he worked intently for the next twenty minutes. It was great watching his facial expressions and hearing the keys clacking away. I was surprised that he was able to answer all sixty of the questions so quickly. Reading his answers was the best way possible to end the day...a few laughs and a few tears. ❥
